Apple iOS 5.0.1 Update Not Solved Battery Issues For All Users

Apple rolled out their new iOS 5.0.1 update this morning in an attempt to help stop batteries draining quite so fast on their iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices, after battery problems were reported by a number of users using iOS 5 over the last couple of weeks.

Siri Apple iPhone 4 hack gets Apple server support

Apple disappointed many iPhone 4 owners with the news that Siri, the digital personal assistant technology, would only be available on the new Apple iPhone 4S, and efforts quickly began to hack Siri onto the older smartphone. Developer Steve Troughton-Smith got the local app running with no problems, but faced Apple’s servers refusing to play ball with anything but the newest iPhone. Now, with the judicious application of some validation tokens from an Apple iPhone 4S, it’s possible to get Siri on the iPhone 4 and iPod touch up and running, even without official support from Apple itself.

“It does require files from an Apple iPhone 4S which aren’t ours to distribute, and it also requires a validation token from the Apple iPhone 4S  that has to be pulled live from a jailbroken Apple iPhone 4S, and it’s about a 20-step process right now” Steve Troughton-Smith, developer
Still, you shouldn’t expect to see a public release of this particular Siri hack any time soon, at least from its original developer. Troughton-Smith told 9 to 5 Mac that he viewed it as a proof of concept more than anything else, to demonstrate that the iPhone 4′s single-core processor was up to the task of running Siri and that, in short, Apple’s decision to limit it to the Apple iPhone 4S  was one of product positioning.

Siri on iPhone 4:
Meanwhile, a second video has already demonstrated Siri running on the iPod touch, though in this case there are some hardware limitations. That’s around the iPod’s microphone, however, which is less sensitive than that of the iPhone 4/4S: Siri demands a strong, clear voice if it’s going to pick up any commands. No word on whether it’ll run on the iPad yet, though the local app has already been demonstrated as functional on Apple’s tablet.

Siri on iPod touch:
Siri is expected to be Apple’s primary strategy with the oft-rumored Apple television, with the latest rumors suggesting Steve Jobs envisioned a voice-controlled HDTV running iOS and using the intelligent spoken command system to bypass the traditional remote. More on Siri in our full Apple iPhone 4S review.

Apple iPhone 4S (Steve)

A total of four million units of iPhone or Apple iPhone 4S 4 Steve has been sold after the third day of the official launch on October 14.

Apple Company also received an order of 1 million units through on-line sales for the
Apple iPhone 4S, more than 600 000 thousand units compared to earlier models.

Apple iPhone 4S was introduced to the public the day before the death of its chairman Steve Jobs, this model was initially regarded as not appropriate for the customer for their physical appearance is similar to earlier models of the Apple iPhone 4.

However, the unique feature of voice recognition applications are known as the Series has received positive feedback from users to help increase its sales.

Apple iPhone 4S Model

Apple iPhone 4S now already launched, this is the model that everyone waiting so long and want to buy.

http://www.gadgetoz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/iphone-4-uk-price6.jpg

The design of Apple iPhone 4S still same with Apple iPhone 4, but the features is different, the Apple iPhone 4S features have a lot of new apps, not only it's OS and A5 processor.

http://www.shiningstuff.com/images/2011/09/13/36065/buy-new-apple-iphone-4-32gb-at-300usd-buy-2-and-get-1-free-and-many-more_4.jpg

My opinion is Steve Jobs want to maintain the idea of Apple iPhone 4 design but inside the Apple iPhone 4S contains a lot of his ideas of future for new Apple CEO.

Maybe after Apple iPhone 4S will be really different under Apple new CEO, hopefully Tim Cook will come with new idea that can make Steve Jobs and Apple fans proud.

Lack of excitement for Apple's new Apple iPhone 4S

Apple iPhone 4S

TYLER - An apple announcement earlier this weeks introducing a new iPhone has left many of there customers feeling a little disappointed. Rumors have flown over the last year about Apple's new iPhone.
Many were expecting a sleeker design and new features, and for it to be the Apple iPhone 5 but, what apple recently released, is just an upgrade of the Apple iPhone 4, called the Apple iPhone 4S. Leaving some a little less excited about the new phone.

Gabriel Wade, and East Texas college student, tells KETK, "I think some people were disappointed because some people were like the Apple iPhone 5 is coming out but then they were like well, it's 4S."

Apple iPhone 4S

Apple is expanding its carrier availability in the US. AT&T and Verizon are its main carriers in US and now, according to the latest rumors, Apple’s iPhone4S is coming on Sprint and Apple is going to expand its carrier availability, Sprint T- Mobile and China Mobile will be included in its carrier by the end of the year. iPhone 4S include minor cosmetic changes, better cameras, A5 dual core processor and HSPA+ Support. It has improved qualities as compared to previous versions and iPhone4. It is coming with 8 megapixel Camera, faster downloads speed, and has much better graphic performance.

Apple iPhone

According to the analyst report, iPhones are flattening out at both AT&T and Verizon and addition of two new big carriers in United States would definitely give them a big boost both in sales and market share. There are some people who will simply not leave their carrier under any circumstances, and for Apple to get those people, they need to be on those carriers that is why Apple will likely announce Sprint, T-Mobile and China Mobile as new carriers.

Apple iPhone 4S has an aperture of f/2.4

Apple iPhone 4S
The new camera has an 8 megapixel sensor. That's 3264 x 2448 for you pixel counters out there. That means you can print out an 8 x 10 photo, said Schiller.

The new sensor is 33% faster at taking photos, he said, addressing one common complaint about the iPhone camera

The lens has five elements, he said, that makes the photos sharper. And it has an aperture of f/2.4 -- helpful for taking photos in low-light settings like Apple keynotes.

The Droid Bionic takes 3.7 seconds to take a first photo, while the iPhone 4S takes 1.1 seconds, he said.

Bionic users have to "go get coffee" in between taking pictures. Photo buffs may well be drawn to many of these features -- Apple is making a play to turn the iPhone 4S into the new walk-around camera.

Schiller is showing off some impressive photos taken with the 4S, which includes several which have SLR-like depth of field effects, and the ability to stop motion.

The new iPhone will record 1080p HD video, and includes image stabilization features.

Airplay is Apple's system for streaming media to different devices, such as AppleTV. The iPhone 4S, like the iPad 2, will have "Airplay Mirroring," which allows you to show exactly what you're seeing on the phone screen on a big-screen TV via an Apple TV.

The iPhone 4S is "the most amazing iPhone yet" -- he said. And there is one more thing about it ... voice control.

"What we really want to do is just talk to our device," he said. Now Schiller is introducing "Siri," -- the "intelligent assistant that helps you get things done just by asking."

Last year, Apple bought a start-up called Siri that was working on these features. This is the first time Apple is showing off what it hopes to do with its technology.

Scott Forstall is back on stage demo-ing Siri, which he says is a dangerous thing to do for voice activated software in front of a group of journalists.

Forstall presses and holds the home button on the iPhone and asks his phone what the weather will be like, and it pop ups up the weather. He then asked it "Do I need a raincoat today?" Siri answers: "It sure looks like rain today."

R.I.P Steve Jobs

Apple's Steve Jobs has died from cancer at the age of 56, a premature end for a visionary who revolutionized modern culture and changed forever the world's relationship to technology through inventions such as the iPad and iPhone.

"We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today," the California-based gadget-maker's board of directors said in a statement released after his death on Wednesday, surrounded by his family.

"Steve's brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve."

Tributes flowed in from around the world for Jobs, while Apple fans flooded social networking sites to voice their sorrow at the passing of the man who helped put mini computers in the shape of phones in millions of pockets.

Ordinary people, many of whom learned of his death on their iPhones and iPads, swamped Twitter using the trending hashtag #thankyousteve to pay tribute to Jobs "for all you have done for this generation," as one person tweeted.

Another called on Jobs to make an "iHeaven to connect us with God."

Jobs was just 21 when he founded Apple Computer in 1976 with his 26-year-old friend Steve Wozniak in his family garage.

From such humble beginnings the company, with its ubiquitous trademark of an apple with a bite taken out of it, grew to eventually become one of the world's most valuable firms.

In July, Apple's second quarter profit hit $7.31 billion on revenue of $28.57 billion.

US President Barack Obama paid tribute to one of America's "greatest innovators."

"He transformed our lives, redefined entire industries, and achieved one of the rarest feats in human history: he changed the way each of us sees the world," Obama said in a statement.

Wozniak told CNN he was "dumfounded" by news of the death of his former partner, comparing it to the untimely and traumatic loss of John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King in the 1960s, and saying it had left "a big hole."

"I'm a little bit, like, awestruck, just dumbfounded, and I can't put my mind into gear, I can't do things," a distressed Wozniak, now 61, said.

"Here is a guy that created tools that everyone in the world -- billions of people -- just love, and feel happy and good about."

Microsoft boss Bill Gates along with other titans of the high-tech industry agreed, with some people hailing Jobs as a modern-day Thomas Edison, who invented the light bulb.

"The world rarely sees someone who has had the profound impact Steve has had, the effects of which will be felt for many generations to come," Gates said in a statement.

The two men were rivals in the race to dominate the market at the start of the personal computer era.

But while personal computers powered by Microsoft software ruled work places, Jobs envisioned people-friendly machines with mouse controllers and icons to click on to activate programs or open files.

Tim Cook -- who had been handling Apple's day-to-day operations since Jobs went on medical leave in January, and was made CEO in August after his resignation -- led the praise for the Silicon Valley legend.

"Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple," he said in a statement.

Apple turned its home page into a tribute to Jobs, posting a large black-and-white photo of the bearded high-tech maestro in his trademark black turtleneck and small round glasses. The only caption: "Steve Jobs, 1955-2011."

Jobs's family also issued a statement, saying he had lost his long battle with pancreatic cancer surrounded by his relatives.

"In his public life, Steve was known as a visionary; in his private life, he cherished his family," it said.

Born on February 24, 1955 in San Francisco to a single mother and adopted by a couple in nearby Mountain View at barely a week old, Jobs grew up among the orchards that would one day become the technology hub known as Silicon Valley.

Under Jobs, Apple introduced its first computers and then the Macintosh, which became wildly popular in the 1980s.

He was elevated to idol status by ranks of Macintosh computer devotees, but left Apple in 1985 after an internal power struggle and started NeXT Computer company specializing in sophisticated workstations for businesses.

He co-founded Academy-Award-winning Pixar in 1986 from a former computer graphics unit he bought from movie industry titan George Lucas.

Apple's luster faded after Jobs left the company, but they reconciled in 1996 with Apple buying NeXT for $429 million and Jobs ascending once again to the Apple throne.

Apple went from strength to strength as Jobs revamped the Macintosh line, launching a "post-PC era" in which personal computers give way to smart mobile gadgets -- the iPod, iPhone and the iPad, as well as the popular iTunes site.

His passing will raise doubts over whether the Cupertino, California-based company can continue its dominance in the hugely competitive technology sector.

His death comes only a day after Cook presided over the launch of the new iPhone 4S in a move that failed to dazzle investors.

Jobs is survived by his wife Laurene, with whom he had three children. He also had a daughter with a woman he dated prior to marrying.

Apple Introducing iPhone 4S

 Apple Introducing iPhone 4S

With the dual-core A5 chip, all-new 8-megapixel camera and optics, iOS 5, iCloud, and Siri, iPhone 4S is the most amazing iPhone yet.

Apple Announces iPhone 4S

Apple iPhone 4S

Apple has unveiled the iPhone 4S, the next version of its popular smartphone.

It will be available for pre-order on Oct. 7 and available to purchase on Oct. 14. And like previous versions of the iPhone, the iPhone 4S will retail for $199 for a 16 GB model and $299 for a 32 GB model.

The new iPhone looks much like the iPhone 4, confirming previous reports. It comes with upgraded internals, including the new Apple A5 chip and 1 GB of RAM. Apple VP Phil Schiller revealed that it will be the first iPhone with a dual-core processor and dual-core graphics. It is “up to seven times faster” than the previous iPhone, he announced.

New iTunes beta shows iPhone 4S instead of Apple iPhone 5

It appears there is a definite name for an upcoming version of the iPhone. The moniker “iPhone 4S” was founding the info.plist file of the MobileDevices bundle that was included with the new beta release of iTunes. In this file, two descriptions of a black and white iPhone 4S can be found that look identical to the current version of the iPhone.
This find puts increases the likelihood of Apple introducing new iPhones this week. The new iPhone is believed to include an eight megapixel camera, 515MB of Ram, and also support for the A5 processor in duel graphics. However, the find seems to indicate the new iPhones will keep the same design of the iPhone 4, or at least this model will.

The new iPhones are expected to be duel-mode, in that they can either run on CDMA or GSM networks. As of right now, Apple markets a unique iPhone model for each network.

As for the design, insider Ming-Chi-Kuo has stated that there is no evidence that the new iPhones will be redesigned. However, he did state that Apple has been developing a model that has an improved antenna design. The same Guerrilla glass will be used for the new iPhones as well.

Currently, it is expected that Foxconn will manufacture 85% of Apple’s fifth generation iPhone units with the other 15% manufactured by Pegatron.

Both models will use Apple’s new operation system, iOS5. It is expected that iOS5 will contain some type of voice recognition, which will allow iPhone users to accomplish a number of things such as text messaging, scheduling appointments, or looking up information.

Rumors have Apple manufacturing roughly 30 million units by the end of this year. If Apple can meet that goal, it is very possible that they beat the record of 20.34 million iPhones that were sold in the June 2011 quarter.

Apple to Announce Apple iPhone 5 on October 4

Apple iPhone 5

Apple‘s new CEO, Tim Cook, will hold a big media event Oct. 4 to announce the Apple iPhone 5, All Things Digital reports citing sources familiar with the matter.

If true, the launch date of the next generation iPhone is consistent with the recent wave of rumors claiming it will be released in early October.

ATD‘s sources say that Cook will preside over the announcement — with the help of other key executives such as Phil Schiller, who participated in such events in the past — which would give this event even more significance. Cook must persuade the shareholders, the audience and Apple fans all over the world that he can sure-handedly take over the role of Apple CEO and company showman. And the expectations for that particular job are, simply put, enormous.

Release of the Apple iPhone 5 to be announced on October 4th

Apple iPhone 5
Tuesday October the 4th, is when Apple will hold a major event featuring the newly appointed CEO, Tim Cook.    Sources from AllThingD, suggests the new iphone will be released during the event. This is inline, with reports earlier from the Wall Street Journal which reported the iPhone would be released in October.
With millions of Apple fanatics closely follow the event, it would set a good stage for Cook to set a tone to his new role and approach.  In the past, Jobs have been a forfront in the releases of  many innovative Apple products.  In contrast, Cook has have little media attention and have been quietly nibbling his way up the ranks.   The departure of Steve Jobs has resulted in a general consensus  Apple would be a different organisation.  As a result, close sources from AppleInsider believes Cook will host the major event.  Having such as highly ranked Apple executive usually results in a product release, potentially the Apple iPhone 5.

Popular Apple forums such as MacWorld and Insider Apple, share the same views as Apple iPhone 5 Review, in which we believe the release date of the Apple iPhone 5  is nearing.   Usually, a product announcement by Apple is followed by a 2-3 week wait before products hit the shelves in the US.   Then it takes another 2 weeks before Apple shits internationally to markets such as Australia.   This suggest, the  Apple iPhone 5 to be available to Australian’s late October to early November.

However, there could be a possibility the Apple iPhone 5 would undergo a worldwide release, where the new iphone would be released on the same day worldwide.  This would be a fantastic way for Apple’s newly appointed CEO, TIm Cook, to blast his way into the media spotlight.

What’s best is the prices of the new Apple iPhone 5 is expected to cost 5-10% less due to Apple’s better logistics and economies of scale.  This would be well received amongst consumers as sentiment has nose dived in recent months.  Saving a possible $100 for the 32G model would certainly attract new iphone users in Australia, which is expected to reach 5.2 million users by 2013.

Apple iPhone 5 Prototype

Apple iPhone 5

Apple iPhone 5 New Features

Apple Iphone 5

1. Larger storage. Usually the model was introduced with the iPhone before 8/16/32 gb storage internal storage, but for the Apple Iphone 5 it will be equipped with 32gb of storage and 64GB.

2. No more problems because Apple have improved the signal characteristics of the previous signal reception problem in iPhone model 4.

3. Chip more power to the A5 Dual Core.

4. The screen is also robust and scratch-resistant.

5. Equipped with Face Recognition feature for face detection function, if your gadget is stolen.

6. It is thinner than existing models. Of course the more interesting not.

7. Apple Iphone 5 has a battery that lasts longer, Up to 14 hours talk time.

8. And certainly many more interesting features that will be a shock to fans of Apple gadgets.

Rumor? Apple iPhone 5 will be in very short supply when it launches

Apple iphone 5

9to5Mac is reporting that it is heard the Apple iPhone 5 - the slightly taller, wider and thinner version "is seeing continued design and production delays, at least on assembly line (Apple has multiple production sources - Pegatron, Foxconn, etc). They therefore think that Apple iPhone 5 will be delayed slightly at the least and might even see shortages all the way in to 2012."

The Apple iPhone 5 is elusive smartphone. It is going to either be similar to the iPhone 4, with a spec-bump or come with a redesigned body. Our bet is Apple will take the wraps off both models, but it seems the Apple iPhone 5 might see a shortage.

A shortage? Is that a surprise? Not . Whether it is a production issue or a consumer, Apple's mobile devices hve historically managed to sell out - as was the case with the iPhone 4 and iPad 2. Shortages are to be expected. The issue is, Apple won't be able to meet demand.

Meanwhile, Case-Mate who "accidentally" posted pics (since removed) of cases for the Apple iPhone 5 online also backs claims that the gizmo will sport a brand spanking new form factor, going as far as to say that the screen will be 4-inches, the home button will elongated, camera will jump up to 8-megapixels, and will feature wireless charging.

For positive, iPhones are en route - of them - but what is the hold up? We have heard nothing about Apple's annual September music event, that usually brings with it redesigned iPods. Possibly those production issues are actual. The only way to guarantee you get an Apple iPhone 5 will be to pre-order as soon as Apple and its wireless carrier partners all buyers to do so.

Case-Mate claims both an iPhone 4S and Apple iPhone 5 model will be launching in early October. The New York Times also says an Apple iPhone 5 is on its way in the next few weeks.

All the Apple iPhone 5 concepts in one video.

Apple iPhone 5 is slimmer and likely to have a 3.7-inch screen – hinted by Apple iPhone 5 cases

Apple iPhone 5

Some case makers have readied some Apple iPhone 5 cases, awaiting for the next big smartphone of Apple to arrive sometime next month. If these cases are truly the Apple iPhone 5 cases, then the Apple iPhone 5 would be thinner and slightly wider.

The said Apple iPhone 5 case has been pictured with an iPhone 4 inside and apparently shows that the iPhone 4 is a few mm smaller while inside the case. It also shows that the Apple iPhone 5 would be styled more after the iPod Touch than the current iPhone 4. It’ll also have tapered edges and curved back, making its design aligned with the iPad 2.

Since the case hints that the Apple iPhone 5 will be only slightly wider, it’s very likely that the Apple iPhone 5 would pack a 3.7-inch or 3.75-inch screen instead of a larger screen. This matches what was rumored before. The iPhone 4 has a 3.5-inch screen that makes it more pocket-able than any recently released Android smartphones that usually pack a screen of 4 inches or 4.5 inches. A more pocket-able phone with lots of capabilities and long battery life means you’ll use it for lots of tasks while you’re on the go.

Apple iPhone 5 Battery

After the Apple iPhone 5 craze dies down, you’ll have ample time to see how well you actually like the device.  Is it the phone that has all of the feature you have dreamed of?  It is very close, but it all really depends on what you need.
Apple iPhone 5

For those who are considering the jump to the Apple iPhone 5, what is holding you back?  There will always be a few glitches that arise as a result of the release of a new electronic product or program.  For most high volume users, the most common gripe will be the short amount of time the battery will last before needing a charge.

Nobody wishes to get an irritating signal as “low battery” in midst of an important phone call or text message.  Text messaging on your iphone is not as hard as the new phone you will get next.

Several lawsuits have been filed regarding the iPhone battery.  Users get upset when they discover that the iPhone battery is sealed and can not be changed.  The iPhone’s battery cannot be changed.

Swapping phone batteries is common, so iPhone owners feel a warning should be issued.  Nonetheless, keeping a recharging dock in more than one location (whether at home or in the workplace).  This is a way to get around the iPhone battery issue.

The Apple iPhone 5 will probably have two options–the 6 GB version or the 8 GB model with greater memory.  Compared to what features come with an iPod, this what is a little small.  The 20gb model may cramp some users’ style, and there is currently no memory expansion option.

Apple vastly approved sites and is possible to download a high volume of files from pirate sites.  One can download films, television programs, music, pictures, and games, among other content.  Users complain that iPhones tend to download information too slowly.  Most iPhone users find delayed downloads to be infuriating, however if you plan ahead, you will be able to make it less frustrating by devising a schedule.

Cell phone users used to be few and far between.  When they are unhappy with the service of one provide, they will easily walk on to the next.

How will the search tools in the Apple iPhone 5 work with all the features available on the device?  Will the browser have the option to automatically remember passwords? The Apple iPhone 5 is the best model, and all problems are addressed.

What are the Most Used Apple iPhone 5 Applications?

comScore, Inc., a company that is devoted to digital market intelligence and measurement research has just released statistics regarding the question that has been asked by many, “What are the most used Apple iPhone 5 applications?” According to their statistics, nearly half of the top 25 applications are games; however, looking at another metric, it seems that games might not be as popular as thought. When it comes to everyday use of applications, there are others that rank higher such as weather applications.
Apple iPhone 5

The second most used Apple iPhone 5 applications would be Facebook, the social networking giant; Facebook has 30 million active users worldwide. There application placed with 25% of users reporting they accessed the application regularly. The application is growing in popularity and would soon knock the weather applications off 1st place. The Facebook application was also recognized by Apple as the #1 All Time Free Application in the iPhone application store.

What may be most interesting about this study though is that it found people are seeking out applications for download by themselves instead of relying on recommendations from websites, family and friends. Most people stated that they found their own applications by themselves without being referred. So, what are you waiting for? Go checkout the Apple application store today!

This Could Be What Apple iPhone 5 Looks Like

Last month, we saw a leak of the design specification which claimed to be for the Apple iPhone 5. Chinese case manufacturers seem to be betting on that design as they've already started producing cases based on that design document. We'd even requested and received some early renders based on the case designs.
Apple iPhone 5
Given how predictive the case designs have been in the past, we commissioned CiccareseDesign to create high quality renderings made as closely as possible to the original leaked case designs. Measurements were taken against the original case design leaks, and then imported into 3D modeling software.
Apple iPhone 5
The designs show manufacturers what areas need to be open or exposed for cases, but reveal little else. In the past, this has caused some misunderstandings about future features. iPad 2 cases seemed to suggest an extra port at the top of the device, but that turned out to be a space for a microphone hole. Similarly, there are a few areas on the Apple iPhone 5 case designs that are open to interpretation. Click on the images for a larger view.
Apple iPhone 5

The elongated hole for the home button has suggested that the home button may itself also become more oval in shape. That is the direction our designer took as well. It's also possible, however, that the home button will retain its round shape and Apple has simply allowed extra space for swiping across the home button in a left to right or right to left manner. These's been some speculation that Apple could allow such a gesture for users to quickly switch between multitasking apps.
Apple iPhone 5
The exact screen size is another aspect that was hard to determine on the design drawings alone. Our renderings have enlarged the screen size to the space shown on the case designs. But, Apple has introduced a "swipe down" from the top of the screen notification system in iOS 5 that could benefit from some extra finger-space near the top of the screen in order to properly register. So, it may be that the screen isn't quite as large as depicted by the cases, and simply Apple allowing for extra space for these swipes. The representation here, however, does show a 4 inch screen which preserves Apple's current screen ratio. Rumors have suggested that Apple may be enlarging the screen size in the upcoming iPhone models.
Apple iPhone 5
The back of the device has tapered edges which makes it look much closer to the iPod touch. As well, there had been rumors that Apple would be abandoning the glass backing of the iPhone 4 and instead moving back to an aluminum design.

The final dimensions of the new design are calculated to be: 4.33" x 2.36" and .27" thickness at the top and .21" at the bottom In comparison, the iPhone 4 dimensions are: 4.5" x 2.31" x .37". So the new design is actually shorter than the existing iPhone 4, but slightly wider and thinner.

Assuming the leaked case designs are accurate, the Apple iPhone 5 should be close in appearance to these renderings. The Apple iPhone 5 is expected to be released in September or October of this year.

Apple iPhone 5 Back Camera & Battery leaked

Another Apple iPhone 5 parts leak have occurred, this time, its camera and battery components.

With the October release practically confirmed by the recent AT&T noise, another parts leak is like icing on the cake in terms of what all Apple iPhone 5 enthusiasts want to hear.

MacRumors have identified multiple sources of suppliers who are allegedly distributing these parts. From the picture, it is clearly seen next to it’s iPhone 4 counterpart, similarly sporting a LED flash embedded closely to the CMOS sensor.

Apple iPhone 5

A surprise comes in the form of the camera not having a Dual LED flash. Although it is hard to tell with these leaks and Apple might even have something up their sleeves. 9to5mac have also reported back in April that the Apple iPhone 5 might borrow Sony’s 8 MP camera to stay ahead of other smartphones in terms of camera.
Apple iPhone 5
The other leaked part is apparently the “DVT_B3?, which is sourced from a UK repair shop called iPatchiPods. The battery is apparently in the final testing phases before going out for mass production. Very similar to it’s iPhone 4 counterpart, it will also be sort of the same in terms power delivery. “Of course, we’re not sure how old the battery shown in the photo is, so the Apple iPhone 5 very well could be in the final production stage”, according to MacRumors. The fact that this might be an old iPhone 4 prototype must also be taken into consideration. Another leak is of a battery module, from TVC mall, which is also a go to place for replacement iPhone parts.

iOS 5 Beta Hints at 4G LTE Support in Apple iPhone 5 and iPad 3

Apple iPhone 5
Apple iPhone 5
Lots of have speculated that the Apple iPhone 5 will launch with LTE support, as there's already a few Android handsets & tablets on the market that support LTE & Apple usually tries to lead & not follow with its new iPhone handsets. With Apple's main carrier partners AT&T & Verizon currently rolling out 4G LTE network coverage as quick as feasible, users would likely flock to the Apple iPhone 5 in droves if LTE support was an included feature. Verizon's network is far more complete than AT&T's, but it's expected that the companies will feature similar LTE coverage by next year.

Will 4G Long-Term Evolution (LTE) support be coming in Apple's next-generation iPhone & iPad devices? While digging through the files in the recently-released sixth beta of Apple's upcoming iOS 5 mobile operating process, some enterprising users have found hints that recommend that LTE support may be arriving to Apple's devices soon.

As for the iPad three, small is known about the tool other than that it is likely to be released sometime in early 2012. With the launch of the next iPad still lots of months away, it's very positive that an LTE-capable version will be offered, as the major North American carriers will have their LTE networks fully rolled out by next spring. Another sign that LTE may be coming to the iPad is the recent speculation that Apple is set to permit its carrier partners to subsidize the cost of the iPad three, similar to how the iPhone is subsidized. Customers will be considerably more willing to sign a or two-year LTE knowledge plan contract in the event that they can save a few hundred dollars on the acquisition cost of their new iPad tablet.

Although the Apple iPhone 5 is all but confirmed to be launching sometime in September or early October, Apple has yet to even confirm the existence of the tool. Nothing is known about what the next-generation iPhone handset will deliver in terms of upgraded hardware or features; whether or not LTE had even been thought about by Apple was unknown until the discovery of LTE settings in iOS 5 Beta 6.

With Apple CEO Steve Jobs stepping down from his position today, we're unlikely to listen to much more about the Apple iPhone 5 , the iPad three or the chance of 4G LTE support for at least a week or. By then, we'll be in to September & likely close to Apple's fall event, where the Apple iPhone 5 is expected to be announced & demoed. Until then, sit tight & keep your fingers crossed that Apple does pick to include support for the brilliantly quick 4G LTE networks in the upcoming Apple iPhone 5 handset.

Of work, it's feasible that the appearance of LTE settings in the recent iOS beta were basically included to aid Apple & its developer base in their testing. This is a common practice for mobile operating process developers, which usually have numerous prototype handsets in the field being tested at all times.

No more home button on the Apple iPhone 5

The Apple iPhone 5 is going to be running off the latest operating system by Apple, the iOS 5. The 3rd beta version of iOS5 was recently released to developers with the new “Assistive Touch” feature that seems to take the place of an iPhone home button.

This touch panel allows users to control their gadget display, thus could replace the home button. Also, the mute button and volume buttons will become useless if the “Assistive Touch” feature is enabled.

The “Assistive Touch” feature has the following commands:
-Rotate screen
-Lock screen
-Volume up
-Volume down
-Shake

It works like the home button, except with more features. The new feature will also enable gestures for the Apple iPhone 5.

The news of the new feature led many users to believe that the Apple iPhone 5 will no longer have a home button or volume buttons. Although the new touch panel may seem more practical, the Apple iPhone 5 will look more attractive without a home button. Many Apple customers do not believe that the company will give up on the home button or volume buttons anytime soon though.

We’re still unsure whether the next-gen iPhone will be called iPhone 4S or just Apple iPhone 5. Anyway, there is some news here about the design of the next-gen iPhone i.e. it would come with generally similar form factor to the iPhone 4′s, but with slight modifications. And it will come with a curved cover glass.

According to Digitimes, some industry sources indicate that Apple will adopt curved glass for the next-gen iPhone, the Apple iPhone 5. Some more, Apple has purchased 200-300 glass cutting machines to be used by glass makers, as those glass makers are reluctant to invest on the machines due to high capital involved.

Apple is still working with related suppliers to iron out a number of issues, including those involved in cover glass, glass cutting and the touch sensors. Thus, there has been no timetable yet for the production of the Apple iPhone 5.

Currently, it’s unclear what type of curved display to be used on the Apple iPhone 5. The image shown above is an iPod Nano that has a curved glass screen, which should give you some idea how an Apple iPhone 5 with curved display would look like.

Have you always been exposed to some radiation? If you live in Japan or somewhere near the Tohoku disaster zone, then you’ll always need to bring along a radiation detector that will keep you aware and away from those hazardous areas. For iPhone users, here comes the Scosche RDTX-Pro which is a device with an accompanying iOS app that turns your iPhone into a radiation detector on the run.

The Scosche radiation detector is able to detect gamma radiation above 60KeV precisely – within + or -5% accuracy. Like any other iOS accessories, the Scosche radiation detector plugs into the 30-pin connector of your iPhone or iPod Touch and it has an accompanying iOS app (called radTest) that’s downloadable from the Apple app store for free. Once the detector is plugged into your iDevice for the first time, you’ll be prompted to download the radTest app.

The radTest app provides intuitive information about the radiation level nearby, including a friendly meter showing you in green, yellow and red, which represent safe, elevated and dangerous respectively. There is also a digital mode which shows you the exact radiation levels, if you’re someone who always want more details and figures. You can also share those radiation levels on Google Maps, Facebook and Twitter, telling your friends how many hazardous points that you’d have been traveling across.

The Scosche RDTX-PRO can also work as an radiation alarm independently from your iPhone or iPod Touch. It requires two AA batteries which are good for up to 96 hours of radiation detection.

The Scosche RDTX-PRO is not cheap, priced at $330 each. The expensive price tag is due to $10 fo each unit sold will be donated to the charities that are aiding those affected by the Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami. Find out more on Scosche.com
